I use this armband for my 5th generation IPod while running. It works as I anticipated. It stays snug on my arm–it does not slide–and it not bothersome. It does get some condensation buildup inside the clear plastic face, but I expect that when I’m sweating. Occasionally, the IPod ear-bud wires get tangled with my hands while running, but I believe that would occur with any armband. I recommend this armband for use while running or working out in the gym, especially when considering the very reasonable price.

The case doesn’t have an opening for the hold button on the top of the 5th gen nano so when I toss it in my gym bag it gets bumped “on” 1/2 of the time. It tends to gather condensation on the inside of the plastic face from sweat.
