Visual lands incorporates all the style of the ipod nano 3rd gen, but clearly this is no nano. The music sounds surprisingly well only one complaint, no custom equalizer, has about 10 preset equalizer settings. Video on the 1.8 screen looks descent, good for video clips not for long movies. The video is also available only in amv format, but the player comes with converting software to convert your avi and mpeg videos to amv. The big hit on this player is its picture viewer and ebook features. Pictures look sketchy because the screen is not capable of viewing megapixel pictures well. I dont why an ebook feature was even considered for a 1.8 screen, to read a full page of text it takes constant clicks. The player also has a microphone which is descent, and a external speaker which isnt really loud but is kinda a neat social feature. Overall, if low on cash its good choice. Its essentially a nano of lower quality. Organizing the media on the player is possible, but isnt as easy as ipod.
